The Founders

Jack O’Brien graduated from Harvard College and Harvard Business School. He spent 21 years with Fidelity Investments, advancing to Managing Director, FMR Corp. Other positions include Pres. Fidelity; Mgt and Research, Brokerage, Distributors and Trust Company. From 1989 to 2002 he served as CEO of Allmerica Financial (NYSE)

Currently he serves as a Director of the TJX Companies, Cabot Corp, BlackRock Funds and the Woods Hole Institute.

Dan Daly graduated from Harvard College with a degree in economics and spent three years in the Navy, including a combat tour in Vietnam as commander of a Navy Swift boat. In 1972, he founded Daly & Company, a senior level executive search firm, and Daniel Roberts Inc., an administrative and financial placement and temporary help firm.

In the early 1990s, Dan served as Governor William Weld’s first Director of Economic Development. Currently, he is Chairman of the New England Center for Homeless Veterans Dan is a founder of The Presidents’ Heritage Foundation, an organization which brings inner city school children to Massachusetts Presidential sites.

Russ Hansen is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School.  He is a board consultant and serves on six private, non-profit and governmental boards.  Previously, he was CEO of the National Association of Corporate Directors, General Counsel at two public companies and a corporate senior partner at Hale and Dorr.

He is co-chair of the Business Law Section of the Boston Bar Association.
